Quilt Festival Update # 4

Hi Everyone

Once again we all ready for this years Outdoor Quilt Festival and despite last weekends hitch we shall be hoping for great weather, if just like today will be wonderful.

In the event of poor weather, we have decided that we shall cancel the festival altogether, but we shall post the cancellation details on this blog, Sawmillers, and also on the Sawmillers website, let us all hope that won’t be the case.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Quilt Festival Postponed

Due to poor weather conditions here at Te Marua we have postponed the quilt festival to Sunday 16th February 10.00am – 4.00pm

Quilt Festival Update #3

Hi Everyone

Just another quick update for you all, Sawmillers will be open on Thursday 6th February (Waitangi Day) so we can still take delivery of your quilts if they have to be delivered on that day and up until 4.00pm on Friday too.

We have had a great response this year, with a variety of quilts, some art quilts, some embroidered quilts and of course a great range of quilts made for a variety of reasons, I am sure some will make you quite emotional.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday and remember all proceeds go to Te Omanga Hospice a very worthy cause and one which I am sure we have all had contact with over the years.

Should the weather not be on our side, check back here and on the Sawmillers blog as I shall update as soon as a decision is made, the important thing is that we will not jeopardise the quilts that are in our care for the day.

Until Sunday
