Outdoor Quilt Festival Pictures

Hi Everyone,

As promised, here are the pictures of the Outdoor Quilt Festival, as you can see it was a fabulous day, the sun shone all day and everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves either looking at the quilts, talking with friends or wandering around the garden. Anyway enjoy these pictures and as there are quite a lot we have to do two postings to accommodate them all.

sawmillersquiltery1Hi Everyone,

Wasn’t yesterday, Sunday, a wonderful day, we not only had fabulous quilts on display but the most beautiful warm sunny day so that everyone was able to enjoy the gardens at Stonestead and the hospitality of the Tea House too. Unfortunately as a result of the overwhelming amount of visitors in attendance there were those that were unable to enjoy their Devonshire Tea without having to wait, suffice it to say, that during our de brief meeting that we shall be having, this will be addressed, in readiness for next years festival. Having said that  we are adamant that the reputation we have built up over the last two years for the made to order scones will not be compromised.

The details of the winners will be posted shortly along with the photographs of the winning quilts.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the  judges, the volunteers whose hard work was invaluable, Glen from Wellington Sewing Services, John and Robyn the ‘Bouncy Castle’ people  and George for providing First Aid cover too.

Until our next posting, a big thank you.
